At Faith Community Church of Chandler, Youth Pastor Derek Filley seeks to teach our Jr. and Sr. High Students through various activities that challenge their spirits and give them opportunities to enjoy life together.

Some of our regular activities include:

  • The Refuge – Wednesday nights are filled with music and teaching designed for the Jr. and Sr. High students.
    • Meets bi-weekly on Wednesday evenings
    • Jr. High: 6:30-8:00pm
    • High School: 7:30-9:00
  • Small group Bible studies – In small groups, students get to encourage one another, share life's difficulties, and receive guidance in a casual setting.  Students meet in adult-led, age-appropriate groups.
    • Meets bi-weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00
  • Sunday School – In Sunday School, the Word of God is taught and students learn to see God in new ways.
    • Meets weekly on Sunday mornings at 9:15
    • Our high school students meet in the main auditorium and are led by Youth pastor, Derek Filley
    • Jr. High students are taught by Phyllis Davis and Kim Bunch
  • Camps and Other Annual events
    • At camp; schedules, phones, and images are left behind for a time of new beginnings, significant growth, and lots of fun.
    • Speaking of which, fun is on the top of the agenda at our annual pilgrimage to Magic Mountain
    • Students are challenged to share their faith and serve others at events like "Dare 2 Share" and "The 30 hour famine".  Watch for information on these and other opportunities for Students at FCC.
